Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce applications using our core technologies (PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, React, Next.js, Vue.js)
- Architect and implement robust backend services that support cross-border trade functionality
- Lead technical aspects of development projects while collaborating with product managers and stakeholders
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of our customer-facing platforms
- Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using best practices for security, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to elevate overall team capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in our production environments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our tech stack
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience with demonstrated proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, Next.js, and/or Vue.js
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS infrastructure
- Working knowledge of database design and optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, and related integrations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
